Del Lago Local Rules

Rules of Golf Apply to all Play, except where modified by the local rules OR such temporary rules posted prior to league play.

For reasons such as safety and pace of play, these local rules apply:

  • Penalty Areas – All desert areas and bodies of water should be played as RED Penalty Areas.
  • Hole #2 – Desert area between the tee box and the fairway, player may choose to play a provisional ball to maintain Pace of Play.
  • Hole #11 – Lower level on the left side of the fairway should be played as a RED Penalty Area.

Bunkers - Effective 3/28/24

  • All course bunkers are deemed waste bunkers.

  • Lift, clean, rake, and place is in effect.

  • Grounding the club and practice swings allowed.

  • No Penalty.

Ground Under Repair

  • On Hole #9, the fairway bunker on the right side of the fairway, before the green, is ground under repair.  A player may drop the ball within one club length of the nearest point of relief, no closer to the pin.

  • On Hole #10, the fairway bunker on the right side of the fairway, is ground under repair.   A player may drop the ball within one club length of the nearest point of relief, no closer to the pin.
